The session is kept calm and flexible, with time for feeding, settling and pauses when needed. We work with gentle posing and natural positions, using professional lighting to keep the photographs soft, clean and timeless.

Baby-Led Pace

Newborns do not work to a timetable, so the photography follows their rhythm. There is no pressure to keep moving if your baby needs a break. A relaxed pace generally produces better expressions, more natural positions and a calmer experience for parents too.

Parents & Newborn

Parents belong in the story as well. We include close portraits with your baby and simple family compositions so the session records not only how small your newborn is, but also the connection and scale of this stage of family life.

Sibling & Family Portraits

If older children are part of the family, we can include sibling and full-family portraits while keeping expectations age-appropriate. These photographs often become some of the most valuable from the session because they show the beginning of a new relationship.

Simple, Timeless Styling

We favour clean backgrounds, restrained props and a visual style that keeps attention on the baby. Clothing and colour choices can be planned beforehand so the finished newborn photographs work together as a consistent collection rather than a series of unrelated setups.

Preparing for the Session

Before the appointment we can discuss clothing, feeding, family participation and the style you prefer. The studio is in Mira Road and sessions are by appointment, allowing us to reserve enough time instead of trying to fit a newborn session into a rushed slot.
